Watch the threads.
They do work, the sizes are accurate, and they are made out of metal. That is the upside. The downside is that they are thin. That makes them light but it also makes them easy to bend. The threads are very delicate and it will be very easy to cross thread and strip them so be CAREFUL when screwing them on your lens. The good news is that is more likely that the adapter ring thread would get messed up than the lens thread. Either way I say be careful. Adapter rings are, at times, a necessary thing but avoid when you can. If you are using an adapter for a filter you might be better off by buying an inexpensive filter for that size of lens instead. Just saying.
