Outpaces much more expensive filters.
The first thing that stands out is the nice packaging that it comes in. Definitely meant to keep the ND filter safe. I tried a few video clips and some photos with the filter attached to my Zeiss 24-70mm lens. The image quality was very good and the filter feels really substantial.I'll post some images after uploading to my computer.
Great Value and Comparable to Higher End Filters
To start off, the packaging for the filter is very nice. It comes in a very sturdy box, and the filter itself is in a nice hard plastic case. The filter itself is very high quality. There are 5 stops on it, and it has hard stops to ensure you dont go past the filters limits. Using the filter introduces no loss of quality or artifacting to your photos, and gives me confidence whenever i use it. Compared to the PolarPro VND, it is very similar in quality for a cheaper price. I highly recommend this filter if you are looking for a bargain filter thats high quality for at least half the price of competitors!
Two months of daily use, still delighted
I've used this pretty much daily for the past couple of months and I am more than happy with it. I was going to pick up the PolarPro VND, but I couldn't justify the price tag. I am a professional car videographer/photographer and this is my goto VND. If I break it, I'll be replacing it with the same one. It's tough, well built, and just has an overall sturdy feel to it. With hard stops at either end of the filter too, it makes sit super easy to use. 10/10 recommend!
WOW is all I can say.
This thing is a BEST! I did a shoot today in Texas heat and weather and all I can say is this ND filter is the real deal. I had never used a filter until now, I was pretty impressed. My strobe will last a lot longer now.
Upgrade your footage
I bought this for mostly waterfall photography because my big name brand 5-10 stop ND was overkill for my needs. My exposures were 30 seconds to one minute, so I didn't push this filter to the extreme, but I see no artifacts or color cast (beyond the expected shift from long exposure to begin with). You are not wasting your money. Great investment!
